FAQ — Glimmy

General

What is Glimmy?

Glimmy is a simple link page you fully control.

No tiers, no dashboards you don't need, no tracking.

Can I save my Glimmy while I'm working on it?

Yes. Changes are saved while you edit, so you can continue later without losing progress.

Are there any hidden costs?

No.

  • One-time $35 to get started
  • Then $5.99 per year for hosting
  • No plans, no upgrades, no feature tiers

If you use ENS, ENS itself charges a yearly fee (usually ~$5/year for names longer than 5 characters). Glimmy does not add anything on top of that.

What data does Glimmy store?

As little as possible.

We store:

  • A link between your page and your login method (wallet or email)
  • Hosting and payment status
  • Minimal technical metadata to keep your page online

We do not store:

  • Analytics
  • Tracking data
  • Profiles
  • Payment details (handled by Stripe)

Is explicit or illegal content allowed?

No.

Pages containing explicit, illegal, or abusive content may be removed without notice.

This includes (but is not limited to) sexual content involving minors, non-consensual material, or content that violates applicable laws.

Web3 / Wallet & ENS

Who owns a Glimmy page?

If you use an ENS name, ownership follows the ENS.

The wallet that owns the ENS name is considered the owner of the Glimmy page linked to it.

What happens if an ENS name is transferred to another wallet?

When an ENS name moves to a new wallet:

  • Glimmy automatically recognizes the new owner
  • The existing page is loaded for that wallet
  • The new wallet will be notified when yearly hosting renewal is due

Ownership follows the ENS, not the original wallet.

What happens if I don't renew my ENS or hosting?

  • No ENS renewal → the ENS name expires via ENS
  • No hosting renewal → your Glimmy page and name expire

Expired names can be registered by someone else.

If I lose access, am I locked out forever?

  • Wallet login: No. If you still control your wallet, you always retain access.
  • Email login: Recovery is harder. We may be able to verify ownership via Stripe payment history, but this is not guaranteed.

Web2 / Email Login

What's the difference between wallet login and email login?

Wallet login

  • Self-custodial
  • Best for ENS and Web3 users
  • Most reliable long-term access

Email login

  • Uses a magic link
  • Easier for non-crypto users
  • Slightly weaker for account recovery

If you use ENS, wallet login is strongly recommended.

Can I log in without an email code?

Yes — if you use a wallet.

Email login always requires a magic link.

Stickers

Can I pitch a sticker pack idea?

Yes! Send your idea to: stickerpack@glimmy.xyz

How much do sticker packs cost?

Some are free.

Others cost a few dollars.

No subscriptions, no bundles.

Glimmy is built to stay simple, predictable, and ownership-first.

No dark patterns. No data hunger.

Don't obsess over the cookies.
